 Services provided by the elementary school counselors:

• Consult with staff, parents, and students in order to meet student needs academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Intervention Assistance Team (IAT) members
  -- Conference with parents and staff
  -- Administer screening tests to students with suspected    learning difficulties
  -- Assist with Multi-Factored Evaluations (MFE)

• Community resources and information to parents, students, and staff.
  -- Hope for the Holidays
  -- Ester Ryan Shoe Fund
  -- Child Guidance Center and other community    agencies
  -- Children's Service Board

• Classroom guidance lessons
  -- Red Ribbon Week
  -- Character Education
  -- Conflict Resolutions
